About Tyler Pflughoft

Tyler Pflughoft is a Southern California artist currently pursuing a BFA in Experimental Animation, with a completed minor in Creative Writing.

They have developed and collaborated on multiple animated projects, including Andrew Horwitz’s music video, The Orion Experience lyric video, the Goodnight Goodnight Goodnight music video, and earned a spot in the top 100 for the 2023 24-Hour Animation Challenge.

Tyler is proficient in Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe After Effects, Storyboard Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, ZBrush, and Autodesk Maya.

Their artistic practice also extends into physical media: Tyler vended original pins, prints, and paintings for three years at Super Mix Mercantile, showcasing work alongside notable artists such as savethepanduhs and ashandchess.

Beyond the studio, Tyler works with the operating team at Creativity Flow, a collaboration between Rivian and Group-Y. There, they support seamless guest experiences—coordinating check-ins for over 150 attendees, including events with guest speaker Dan Povenmire, and fostering connections between students and industry recruiters.

Whether through animation, illustration, or event collaboration, Tyler is dedicated to creating work that sparks connection, creativity, and imagination.
